Wild birds that are regulars in Warsaw’s Białołęka district will certainly not starve this winter. The local District Office decided to take care of the health and tummies of our winged friends and stocked up on the best possible bird food . Residents of the district can pick up completely free sets consisting of varied food and a bird delicacy in the form of 100% unshelled sunflower seeds.
We know from experience that all birds that spend the winter with us simply love it. So you can expect that they will come in droves to the places where it will be scattered.

However, remember that the food should be in a safe place for birds. Cats, although they seem lazy, make excellent use of all opportunities to hunt. In addition, the food scattered directly on the ground will be mostly absorbed by pigeons. If you want to enjoy the view of titmouses, sparrows or even woodpeckers, however, it is worth investing in a basic feeder and placing it on the balcony or directly in front of it on a tree. Bird watching is great fun and an alternative to television or computers. Hours spent together in front of the window watching birds will bring you closer not only to the nature around us, but also to each other. Take our word for it – it’s worth a try.
