This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by Users in connection with the use of the MEGAN.COM.PL website and from e-mails sent to postal addresses in the domain @MEGAN.COM.PL

For the purposes of a better perception of the Privacy Policy, the term “User” has been partially replaced by the term “You”, “Administrator” – “We”. §.1 Who is responsible for the processing of your data?

Data protection is carried out in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable laws and is stored on secure servers.

 

§. 2 What kind of data does MEGAN.COM.PL process?

If you use the contact form on our website, we process your data such as: name, surname, e-mail address, phone number and IP address.

 

In the case of placing orders electronically, we process only those data that are necessary for the performance of the service (invoice).

 

When you visit the MEGAN.COM.PL website, we collect your data through cookies and server logs on which the website is stored. Full information on the cookies we use is included in paragraph §9Cookies Policy“.

§. 3 For what purpose do we process your data?

We process the data sent via our contact form and sent directly to our e-mail address for the following purposes:

  • Sales service
  • Responses to requests for proposal;

We use the data obtained through cookies to monitor and check how users use the MEGAN.COM.PL website (detailed information can be found in section §9 Cookies Policy“)

The data obtained through the server logs are not associated with specific persons using the MEGAN.COM.PL website and are not used by the Administrator to identify the User. They are only auxiliary material used to administer the Website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorized to administer the server

 

§. 4 On what basis do we process personal data?

 

  1. Performance of the sales contract the legal basis for the processing of the collected personal data of the User is the performance of the sales contract. In this regard, the User may voluntarily provide the data necessary for the performance of the contract (Data necessary to issue a sales confirmation, invoice/receipt and data necessary for the correct shipment of the purchased goods),

If you do not provide this data, it is not possible to perform the sales contract.

  1. Consent – the legal basis for the processing of the User’s personal data will be the consent of the data subject,
  2. The necessity of data processing to comply with a legal obligation incumbent on the Administrator,
  3. The necessity of data processing for the purposes resulting from the legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator.

§. 5 Who may have access to your personal data?

Only entities related to the Administrator have access to your personal data, such as:

  • companies providing accounting services,
  • companies providing IT services,
  • a hosting service provider necessary for the functioning of an online store and e-mail in the MEGAN.COM.PL domain
  • advertising agency serving MEGAN.COM.PL

 

§. 6 How long do we keep your data?

MEGAN.COM.PL will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to comply with applicable law. This means that we may store your personal data for a reasonable period of time even after you have ceased to use the MEGAN.COM.PL services, in particular data necessary to fulfil our company’s obligations to state administration authorities (m.in. Tax Administration).

 

§. 7 Security policy, or how we protect your data:

  1. We respect your right to privacy and keep your data secure. For this purpose, a secure communication protocol (SSL) is MEGAN.COM.PL used for e-mail communication as well as communication via the contact form on our website, m.in.
  2. Personal data provided in the form on our website, as well as in e-mail correspondence sent to company addresses in the @MEGAN.COM.PL domain, are treated as confidential and are not visible to unauthorized persons.
  3. The computers on which your electronic correspondence arrives and on which your data is stored have a number of different security measures, in the form of:
    1. the devices are located in locked rooms accessible only to persons authorized to process data
    2. we use difficult passwords that change periodically and a system of user accounts with different levels of access
    3. we use licensed, constantly updated antivirus software and firewalls
    4. we use licensed, constantly updated operating systems
    5. We use secure, constantly updated software to handle e-mail.
    6. Computer monitors are set to prevent unauthorized people from viewing the screen – the so-called Clean Screen Policy
    7. computers have a pre-programmed screensaver and automatic lock after 5 minutes of inactivity
  4. Personal data is processed only by persons authorised by us or by processors with whom we work closely
  5. All people at Megan spółka cywilna have received training in the field of personal data security

 

Megan civil partnership declares that it has implemented all the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security and integrity of the personal data it processes, as well as to prevent its loss, modification and/or access by unauthorized third parties.

 

§. 8 What rights do you have in relation to your personal data?

 

Each data subject (if we are their administrator) has the right to:

– access to your data,

– rectify their data,

– delete or restrict the processing of your data,

– the right to object to the processing of your data,

– the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (PUODO).

In order to modify or request the deletion of data, please specify exactly which data the request relates to and what is the desired method of modification of the data (e.g. change of personal data, complete deletion of personal data from the database).

 

We reserve the right to process your data after termination of the Agreement or withdrawal of consent only to the extent that we are required to pursue possible claims before a court or if national, EU or international law obliges us to retain data.

 

The deletion of personal data may take place as a result of withdrawing consent or raising a legally permissible objection to the processing of personal data.

 

§. 9. Cookies policy

 

The website MEGAN.COM.PL uses cookies. These are small text files that are sent by a web server and stored by the browser computer software.
